Immerse yourself in a week of yoga led by Janaki and Davy, exploring a variety of styles and practices. Each day (except one excursion day) includes two sessions combining Janaki’s graceful Hatha Flow and Davy’s dynamic Ashtanga, with opportunities to deepen your understanding of pranayama and meditation. Personal guidance and support will be available throughout to enhance your individual practice.
Open to all levels, this retreat offers the chance to explore backbends, twists, balances, inversions, and more—always with a spirit of curiosity, laughter, and fun.
Janaki, a graduate of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Kerala (1998), has been teaching and practising yoga for many years. Davy, teaching since 2008 and practising since 1999, co-founded the Brighton Yoga Foundation, a registered charity that promotes community yoga and organises the city’s annual free yoga festival.
Together, Janaki and Davy bring a shared passion for yoga, believing it should be inclusive, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone.
This course is one of the regular ones at La Roane. Davy and Janaki started coming here in 2009 and have been returning every year. Their retreat participants keep on coming back because, obviously, they love spending time practicing yoga with Davy and Janaki, feeling nourished by the amazing food served, exploring the magical areas in & around La Roane and having fun in this loving community.
